The 991 Turbo was introduced in late 2012 and forms part of the seventh generation of the original Porsche 911.

Harnessing a twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter flat-6 engine that generates 513 hp, the 991 Turbo did not disappoint when it came to performance times. Achieving 0-60 mph in under 3 seconds and boasting a top speed of just under 200 mph, it set high standards.

When launched, two versions were available: the standard 991 Turbo and the enhanced 991 Turbo S (Sport). Both models were all-wheel drive and came with the 7-speed PDK transmission.

The Turbo Cabriolet and the Turbo S Cabriolet were introduced in early 2013. All models of 991 Turbo are renowned for their super speed performance and handling capabilities, not to mention their desirability thanks to their attractive and aggressive looks.

As standard, the 991 Turbo came with plenty of equipment, including Porsche's Sports Chrono pack, LED headlamps, dual-zone climate control, parking sensors, a reversing camera, and Porsche's Classic Communication Management infotainment system (PCCM).

On the Turbo S, additional features included ceramic brake rotors, dynamic chassis control, adaptive LED headlamps, and 18-way electrically adjustable sports seats. The Turbo S was a serious contender against the likes of the Ferrari F12.

Other optional extras across the range included the Porsche Dynamic Lighting System Plus (PDLS), sport design door mirrors, a heated multi-function steering wheel and a carbon interior package.

The 991 Turbo’s raw speed is incredible, and the car has high grip levels and superior body control, meaning it is capable of handling a range of driving conditions. Owners who take it to the track say it’s easy to drive fast plus it’s comfortable as well as being practical.
