This small but essential plastic bolt is used to secure various exterior shield and finishing panels on all Maserati 4200 models, including the Coupe, Spyder, and Gransport. Located in the scuttle area around the under-windscreen and lateral shield panels, it plays an important role in keeping the body trim tightly fastened and rattle-free.

Known also as a pin with washer (Unifast), this fastener is prone to ageing and cracking due to exposure to the elements. It's recommended to replace the full set during trim panel service or restoration, especially when removing the shields for access to the HVAC and filters etc.
