The Carrera GT was produced between 2004 and 2006 and proved to be yet another iconic model to go down in Porsche's history alongside the famous 911, 918 and 959.

In fact, as well as winning the hearts and wallets of motoring journalists and Porsche owners worldwide the Carrera GT picked up several awards including Number 1 on the “Top Sports Cars of the 2000s” by Sports Car International and number eight on its “Top Sports Cars of All Time” list.
To save weight and enhance performance there is a lot of carbon fiber throughout the car. Both the seats and the body are carbon fiber. Other notable performance enhancements include large air intakes, a rear diffuser, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), aluminum wheels, and the hidden rear spoiler which pops up automatically at speeds above 70 mph.
The 5.7 liter V10 engine outputs 603 horsepower and this ensures that performance-wise the GT can compete with the likes of the Ferrari Enzo. The 0-60 mph sprint is 3.5 seconds and the top speed is over 200 mph.
On the inside, there is a lush interior, a combination of luxury and racing with its focused cockpit dashboard, bucket seats, carbon fiber inlays, and a high-mounted central six-speed gear shift - it was only available in manual transmission.
Of the 1,270 units produced, 644 were delivered to the United States, making it the single largest market for this motorsport-inspired masterpiece. Today, the Carrera GT is a true collector’s prize, with values comfortably in the seven-figure range and rising.
